I am now transferring files off this aging AMD Quad system, so i can install the newest Danum Roadblock2 - 64 bit remaster. I have a 10,000 RPM drive in this system that boots Mepis 11.0.12 quickly... Thus I want to test the newer kernel, and see if that makes any difference... Will update after running the newer kernel, to provide more information and see if this unsolved problem continues: gets tiring to reboot to burn a second disk, but I create less coasters rebooting...
