 mnetwork and suspend to ram/disk
RC3.
Maybe this is two issues:
Waking from suspend to ram/disk, the network connection has to be reset manually. Am using a static IP.
Currently using "manual (mnetwork)" as there seem to be no obvious way to revert to "Automatic (networkmanager)".
Tried complete removal of mepis-network and reinstalled, but no dice. Should I try removing mepis-network common as well?
Suggestions please.

Re: mnetwork and suspend to ram/disk
Well, I solved half the problem.
"Automatic" network wouldn't work because my router was failing to pull a primary DNS addy from my ISP. The router does pull a secondary addy though. Very odd. Never seen that happen. Not sure if its the router or the ISP. OpenDNS fixes that problem.
Now I'll see if that has any effect on the sleeping network connection after awaking from suspend to disk.

Sure, I'm rambling to myself. I'm practicing for old age.

Yup, that cured the problem.
Never mind, nothing to see here...
Hey, at least it wasn't an ID10t error this time.
