 tftp server
Hello,
Has anyone here setup their Mepis install as a tftp server? I'd like to be able to copy configs to and from my Cisco gear and also upgrade the IOS when needed.
Regards,
James

IOS (Internetwork Operating System) is the software used on the Cisco router or late model switch.

Should have been more explicit: install and setup tftp server in Mepis8. I am used to Solarwinds TFTP server on Win2003/XP to do this.
Regards,
James

 tftp server
I haven't done a tftp server, but I had a Debian box set up as a ftp server until a very recent hardware failure. A quick search in Synaptic shows several possibilities with the suspected "tftp" search parameter.
HTH, and don't hesitate to post back with a more specific question!
