 Re: Mepis 11 - Fab!
I liked that idea as well, and think the Community should work on laying out the specs.

 Re: Mepis 11 - Fab!
Anyone who wants/knows how to code the changes, please do so. Even if Warren doesn't want to use the feature, antiX would/will/might include it. Same for allowing encryption and/or other file systems apart from the 3 we have.

To Whom This Might Concern,
I hope this finds you well.
M11? Lovin' it!
After a few missteps (owing to self-generated trip-ups), which necessitated a full re-installation, M11 is up and running just swell.
I'm looking forward to loading M11 onto my M8.5 machines.
A thousand thanks for improving what was already the best OS around, and please accept my
Best regards, carlnyc

 Re: Mepis 11 - Fab!
As a brand new noobie, I have been more than pleasantly surprised at how well Mepis 11 works, even for a newcomer. I habitually tinker and usually face severe consequences as a result. With Mepis (which I've bombed twice), fixing is no more complicated than plugging in the dvd and starting over. Much better than W restore. The documentation, Wikis and Forum are so thorough that I've easily found answers to all my questions without posting. And no more searching for the best av or backup program or registry cleaner. My only regret is that I didn't start earlier. A big attaboy to all those responsible for this distro.

Amazing that after the passage of so many? years a Hoosier feeling of inferiority can persist.
