Post Another line repeating in syslog [Solved]
Ok, here's this other stuff it keeps posting. Trouble shooting the syslog is new ground for me. All this began when I had another distro die on the computer at work after updating it.

Dec 18 21:33:07 mepis1 nmbd[1544]: [2011/12/18 21:33:07.063044, 0] nmbd/nmbd_browsesync.c:350(find_domain_master_name_query_fail)
Dec 18 21:33:07 mepis1 nmbd[1544]: find_domain_master_name_query_fail:
Dec 18 21:33:07 mepis1 nmbd[1544]: Unable to find the Domain Master Browser name MEPISGRP<1b> for the workgroup MEPISGRP.
Dec 18 21:33:07 mepis1 nmbd[1544]: Unable to sync browse lists in this workgroup.

I ran sysv-rc-conf and unchecked bluetooth boxes and samba also. Thanks for the assistance. bg

And then in system settings - startup shutdown - service manager

you can uncheck things there too that you don't need to see start up.

I unchecked nepomuk (don't use), bluedevil and synaptiks
