Post openclipart-libreoffice removed while upgrading Libreoffice.
As it says in the title. Both aptitude and apt-get want to either remove openclipart-libreoffice or keep Libreoffice at it's current version when trying to upgrade Libreoffice in the current round of updates. At the moment, I've let aptitude remove openclipart-libreoffice and then re-installed openclipart-png.

Anyone else seen this?

Yes, and I let synaptic remove openclipart. Didn't investigate further because I don't use it.

Take a look at things with FileLight. That clipart collection is really huge.

This FileLight?

Code:
Filelight allows you to understand your disk usage by graphically
representing your filesystem as a set of concentric, segmented rings.

It is like a pie-chart, but the segments nest, allowing you to see both
which directories take up all your space, and which directories
and files inside those directories are the real culprits.

I think if you investigate, that clipart package that gets removed is only a metapackage. The png and svg packages, which actually contain the clipart, are left installed.

iirc, aptitude took the png package with the metapackage uninstall...

Good to know that the clipart is a possible quick win if I ever need to get back some disk space though.

Hmmm, yes, I think aptitude got a bit carried away, since the png package depends on nothing that was removed. Anyway, the png package can reinstalled if one needs it without any dramatic measures being necessary in Synaptic.
