Believe it or not. Kernels have Funny names also. This is a script I use to get that name. Make sure when you save the above text file (mine is named kernelname) that you make it executable via permissions (I use only rox file manager) I just save the above script as/in ~/Documents/kernelname

Looking good! I'd add a space too.. the C right behind the number is usually just when you are writing like this: 26C. Written out it is normally with a space: 26 Celsius.  (yeah.. I am picky like that.. heck I am picky over a pixel with them desktop theme things ROFL!)

If you're picky over a pixel, you could spend a lot of time playing with Conky. Would like to get the Mepis logo and text into the top of my one conky. Must go play

Yes. but I it took me a while to find the logo I have something in the works, but I'm trying to get the crackdown font to work with the words Mepis 11. Have the font installed, just looking for the right format.
