network manager cannot see my network
I setup my network with ceni. Subsequently I installed gnome, I have continued using gnome with one problem I cannot resolve that is that network manager cannot see my network. I always use wireless and am using it now to post this. If I use settings -> Network Connections I apparently have no connection, I have filled in all the details in the configuration details for the wireless connection in the settings but it still does not see it.
It really doesn't matter in some ways except evolution relies on network manager to function and evolution won't send/receive as it thinks I have no net connection. I am using icedove instead and theres nothing wrong with it. Guess I am just curious as to why network manager cannot see active connections.

Re: network manager cannot see my network
Since I don't run Network manager or Gnome in Antix. Check out the FAQ in Debian Wiki. http://wiki.debian.org/NetworkManager#FAQ
