I'm not getting the same impression about my output.
My current situation is:
The kernel didn't upgrade.
I'm clueless as to the "ndiswrapper" issues. I'm running a wired ethernet connection to this machine, so that part isn't functionally relevent to me.
As far as this part:
The headers package you gave were supposedly installed prior to installing the kernel.
So I don't understand this subsequent output:
Is this saying that because of some (irrelevant to me) glitch about nsdiswrapper the kernel install failed?
Even so, why does it say the headers are missing?
Forget the rest for now, because this is the part that IMO things got snarled. Let's see what other folks report before we secrete too much skull sweat, eh?
For the record, after rebooot i get this:

BTW, sorry for not getting back to you on the ongoing antiX manual work. I'm still willing. Do we have a git repo for this project (as distinct from the antiX FAQ 11 git repo i set up)?
