 Re: travelling with antiX
With my EEEPCs when I stayed at a motel. I had to go into wicd properties and use the motels passkey to connect in wicd.
With Open Networks. Just hitting the refresh button with wicd and finding the open network all I had to do was hit the connect button. I do this all the time when I go visit my Doctor. The pharmacy their runs open wifi.

Install ceni. It's in the Community Repository. It's my preferred network manager for open networks.

 Re: travelling with antiX
yup ceni or command line finds the networks
ceni should be in the control centre, no need to install
once you connect, wicd detects it and you can use its interface to setup that network profile

I'm unconscious at times. I completely didn't notice that he was asking something about antiX.
