If you like trivia the German article is nice. Like the plans to start a Mepis-journal. And personal email support from Warren costs $ 9.95 for 30 days. That was back in 2003.

I do read German, and will look at it. Seems like there is a need for more than a simple timeline...an actual short history instead with that release table we have started as just part. Could be fun.

The original Warren Woodford article in wikipedia was deleted a long time ago. Some of the information gathered could be used for a new one.

Yes, I've read that one. There is too much information everywhere, but not very much dating back to 2003.
Still looking for an early piece where Warren explains his views about how to spread Mepis.

If you're doing a wiki entry - I'd also recommend doing a parallel timeline for the community. First Dev Group, establishment of Wiki, Community Site founded, Forum start dates, Repo founding - stuff like that. Would be a nice touch, and nice to give kudos to community members past and present for the roles they've played.

Just a thought & may be interesting for newer members to learn a bit of history....
