 TruecryptHI All,

Re: Truecrypt it's not the first time someone has requested this...
the short answer is no, and it won't be. the licensing for truecrypt prevents it from being repackaged. |

If you try and succeed on M11, please update the wiki or let us know. I already added a bit on why it is not in repos based on GoManutd's response. Cheers |

Re: Truecrypt Thanks for the replies. I downloaded the install script from the truecrypt website, it was a shell script that had the binary stuffed in at the end of it, very strange. Anyways, I executed it as root and it installed lickety split, no apparent issues and it seems to be working fine. I looked at the Mepis 8.5 instructions, they are essentially what I did and it worked fine.
I tried logging into the Wiki but my login from this forum wouldn't work, it's not apparent to me how to get an account over there. Any clues...? _________________ -- Chris Griffin |
