CR Test repo missing files again ???

Post CR Test repo missing files again ???  [Solved]
For the last 24 hours or so, I have seen the following errors in synaptic relating to the latest AV related files, apt-list cache says they are available, but the files do not exist on the server.

Seems there are some misbehaving servers causing the bad transmission in between.

Sure they are working, but are the files there that I am trying to get? I had this same issue only a few days back, where the apt list said they were available, but the files were not there, I think this may be happening again. See the thread below for an example

Using apt-get from the CLI, it would appear the repos were all OK,
Ign http://restricted.mepis-deb.org mepis11cr/restricted amd64 Packages
the restricted-mepis.deb repos get a line starting with IGN, which means the list file in my machines apt-list cache is the same as that which is on the server, so it is ignored and the next files is parsed, but the files they point to do not appear to be on the server at all.

e.g., copied from the terminal ....
Install these packages without verification [y/N]? y
Err http://restricted.mepis-deb.org/mepiscr/testrepo/ mepis11cr/test-restricted libavutil51 amd64 6:0.8-2mcr110+2
404 Not Found
The 404 error is one of the simplest messages to decipher, it means the file is simply not there and this is one of nine missing files.

I just did a manual check using a regular web browser and sure enough, the files are not there, unless I'm mistaken.

Mike,

I don't see the file either. I enable all of the CR's and have the preference set to Mepis.

I was using Synaptic to do the search.

According to the apt-cache show command there should be a 'liba' subdirectory at: http://restricted.mepis-deb.org/mepiscr/testrepo/pool/test-restricted/, which there isn't.

Yes.
Marcos (who operates the restricted server) has investigated.
There was a timeout unrelated to the M11 restricted repo causing the repo update task to fail without being completed, but also without giving any error messages to alert him.

He believes he has now solved the issue.
