Could anyone give fatrat in the main testing community repo a try as a torrent client? I have been impressed by it, plus it has quite a few other features.

I'm not finding it, do I need to add a custom repo? I'm very very new so if you'll give me a heads up on how to find it I'll install, forward ports, download a ***** or something and report results. |

I'm only finding fatrat in the M8.5 CR's (not the M8.0 CR's), the newest version is in the testrepo. Stevo has mentioned that it's sometimes possible to install community repo packages built for M8.5 in M8.0 so you might follow the wiki's M8.5 sources.list article: http://www.mepis.org/docs/en/index.php? ... _MEPIS_8.5 and temporarily add the 8.5 CR's (enable the testrepo). edit: After adding the M8.5 CR's I would first simulate installing fatrat to make sure it's not going to adversely affect your Mepis 8.0 install. Something like the following command will simulate installing fatrat
