 Tutorials for Open OfficeThe ones for Writer are particularly useful:

It does, all you have to do is set it up. System Settings > Locale > Other (Tab) Paper format: change to US Measure system: change to imperial. Last edited by Danum on Tue Jan 25, 2011 1:22 pm, edited 1 time in total. |

Re: Tutorials for Open Office Most of the problem is down to the initial setup, if the setting is changed in locale before a printer is installed, the printer and every thing related to it will default to what is installed there, be it A4 or US
System Settings > Printer configuration > Locale Printer > Options (tab) media size |

Of course, I don't have that printer config icon in my System Settings, as you may remember from a previous exchange. Re: Tutorials for Open Office One thing I would advise, is to install localepurge from the repos, as there are multiple locales installed, 99% of which you will never use, so get rid of them.
this is an upgrade I have just done, notice what is removed, this also works when using synaptic You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. |

Re: Tutorials for Open Office Make sure you keep any locales you may want as well as once localepurge does its job it is very hard to get back the purged locales for the apps installed.

Re: Tutorials for Open Office I've always use dpkg-reconfigure locales to get locales needed and remove those that were not.
