Re: Is everything done for Final?
BTW, this is a fresh install of Mepis11 RC3 (just downloaded last night and installed this morning). Same problem existed before and after updates of it using Synaptic (I loaded Synaptic, pressed the reload button, marked all updates and clicked Apply, just to make sure it wasn't fixed yet before reporting it in the RC3 bug thread).

@JimC It might be a good idea to send a bug report to devatmepis.org and let him know about the KMix problem directly. I agree with you that it will cause some exasperation for a lot of people.

Re: Is everything done for Final?
Here's what I'm proposing for the copyright file, it's based on the /usr/share/doc/mepis-desktop-theme/copyright file. | | | | Quote: This apt compatible package is a unique collective work under US copyright law. Copyright 2007-11 (c) MEPIS LLC. All rights reserved. I would delete the gfxboot sentence, I don't think it has anything to do with our plymouth splash. I also reworded the next sentence (the one I've highlighted in red) I think the box.png, bullet.png, entry.png & lock.png images in the /usr/share/plymouth/themes/MEPIS-11.0/ folder should be removed from the package. I don't know their origin. They aren't used and the splash works without them. Might also delete the mepis-logo.png image. I know where it originated from but it's not used.

That looks good to me. Warren can change what he needs to. Makes sense.

They are from the original plymouth theme, please delete them. Henry

Re: Is everything done for Final?
OK, 24 hours later this is what I know has been done: - The final Manual--notified Warren that it is ready to download from github
- the final checkaptgpg--kmathern pushed up the final version and notified Stevo that it is ready for packaging
- the final Plymouth theme--EDIT: kmathern has sent this to Warren
- the final miniguide--Peregrine sent it to him yesterday
So done--thanks, everybody! On a related front, Peregrine and I have mocked up a new page on M11 that will link off the home page desktop image. Waiting for Warren to approve of the concept, then I will solicit help for the final development.

Re: Is everything done for Final?
Jerry, just checking that you sent Warren a link to the preview, I did not.

Re: Is everything done for Final?
Of the M11 web page? Yes. (If you meant something else, then I am not understanding...)
