A couple years back I said I would work on an XFCE remaster... something I later abandoned basically for more pressing commitments. I did upload a couple of test ISO's through fcs-inc.biz... but I'm pretty sure they were lost when the host of that site disappeared. I don't think they were ever torrented or widely distributed though. Probably shouldn't be listed though since nothing really became of them.

The EXTON-ME is a remaster of M8.0 from 2009 with Swedish localization.
An earlier remaster of M6.0 was made in 2006.

Can you get them somewhere where we can secure them? Maybe Peregrine can help with this (huh?).

A word of caution being as 99% were built in 2009, using lenny, while they will run upgrading them is likely to be a dis---aster,
if you try to upgrade any I did it will be a disaster a 100% total disaster.

That's a good caution, and we will have to include that with any listing we create.

Thanks for confirmation, can anybody try and report problems? The script is available on Github, https://github.com/MEPIS-Community/remastering-script anybody can take a look, make corrections and add features, I don't have time to properly maintain it and my skills have reached the limit there, so I welcome any contribution.
