 Dropbox QuestionI'm considering reinstalling Mepis 11. My question is, noticing on the board that there are mentions of problems with Dropbox, will I be able to use Dropbox and if so, what is the best way to install it?

Re: Dropbox Question Backup your /etc/fstab file. One of the options when installing DropBox will mess it up. You can use the LiveDVD to use the backup fstab.

Re: Dropbox Question The dropbox issue is easily fixed by editing menu.list, removing the * in front of the line defining the /home partition.

any idea if this info is in the wiki or a sticky?, I don't know where to find stickys and can seldom find what I'm looking for in the wiki if it's a tidbit like this as the search function is pretty lame there otherwise I would check myself.... terrible admissions for a long timer but oh so true!
