PCLinuxOS and Fedora are from the Red Hat family tree using RPM packages. Mepis is from the Debian family tree and uses Deb packages. Sadly, I don't have a kdm directory in X11 so I can't test the fix. |

The link Jerry gave you is for Pardus not Debian, /etc/kde4/kdm/kdmrc just make sure you make a backup of kdmrc before editing anything, _________________ *Never be afraid to try something new.
