 Re: Get ready, people!
This is wonderful news, especially the part about M12 running better than M11. (I had a couple of issues with M11, which is why I skipped that release. Maybe M12 will be my lucky charm since the even-numbered MEPIS releases seem to work best for me.)
The one thing that concerns me is the advent of GRUB2, but I'm confident that Warren will make that transition as painless as all the other major changes he's adopted.
I'm also glad that Jerry is around to act as the intermediary between us and Warren.

 Re: Get ready, people!
Joany, I'll bet that M12 can be booted from your existing GRUB/EasyBCD setup.
Whether it is a good idea, I certainly do not know.
I plan on attempting to--just for giggles & grins.
Jerry in Anchorage
PS. For those in America (where it is reported to be HOT), it is 45F at my house in Anchorage this morning at 7AM.

Wow, I'm dusting off space on the computer right now. Will there be torrents set up?

 Re: Get ready, people!
Ouch. The high here in Savannah, Georgia USA today and tomorrow will be 95F. But, it will feel more like 107 to 108F: http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/george ... st/2193318We lost power Sunday Night (July 1) due to high winds and lots of trees down on power lines, and we didn't get our power restored until Tuesday Night (July 3). That was lots of fun (no power for Air Conditioning here in Georgia with hot temperatures and high humidity), since the house was more like a sauna inside. My wife just threw everything in the fridge in the garbage, since we couldn't trust it after that long of a power failure.
