This time for real!

#1 Postby Jerry3904 » Sat Jul 14, 2012 10:37 pm

This message tonight in response to a question from me:
I'm uploading an early alpha this evening and tomorrow morning.

It has rough edges, for example no unique theming.
Sounds like a call to action to me.
Production: 4.2.0-0.bpo.1-amd64, MX-15 RC1, AMD FX-4130 Quad-Core, GeForce GT 630/PCIe/SSE2, 8 GB, Kingston SSD 120 GB and WesternDigital 1TB
Testing: AAO 722: 3.16-0-4-686-pae. MX-15, AMD C-60 APU, 4 GB

Allright i am ready for kde , been playing with Gnome 3 on a net install & am not too fond of it. Tried to install kde too but Debian doesn't seem to care about their system working with it, so away it goes.

Watling patiently for ozzy ISP Internodes mirror to update... with new mepis alpha... :anifish:
http://mirror.internode.on.net/pub/mepis/
I only have 5g download each month, but d/l's from internodes pub mirror don't count, they also have a debian repo as well which doesn't count against my d/l limit either [thanks internode *****]
I'm uploading an early alpha this evening and tomorrow morning.

Thanks Warren, will be good to see what mepis looks like before it gets all-dressed-up.

Just guessing/wondering, will this alpha be called mepis_11.9.60 ?

Cheers NH
