 PC to tablet USB connection [Solved]I am running M11 with all updates (11.5?) on an eee 1005. I have a Cruz T408 tablet with Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread. Using a mini-USB to USB connection this is seen in Windows 7 but not in Mepis. I am looking for a driver, I guess, so as to connect both. I can connect by "Software Data Cable" APK but this will not allow me to backup to the PC.

Re: PC to tablet USB connection Have you considered backing up to the cloud, using Dropbox or another method? That is how I move files back and forth among my smartphone, my netbook and the desktop, because it so freakin' easy!

Re: PC to tablet USB connection LOVE dropbox! i have an acer android tablet, a couple of mepis boxes, windoze, and can get at critical files on all of them without thinking about it - all because of dropbox!
