Post Definitive, CURRENT DAY M8.0 sources list?
I'm going to take another stab at making my antique Dell 700MHz/512MB laptop usable. (I was initially impressed with Kubuntu 11.10, but that has proven problematic.)

I'm going to try M8.0 again. Yes, I know anti-X would work, but I've been spoiled by KDE -- I want a full blown, full featured, full bloat desktop. The old beater ran M8.0 quite well a couple years ago.

With the Lenny repos being moved to archive, and recalling there's something that needs editing with the debian-multimedia repo, I'm hoping someone would be so kind as to post the definitive sources.list file I would want to use this time around.

Thanks in advance.

I made some updates to the wiki's Mepis 8.0 sources.list earlier today after Joany posted that the Lenny repo had been moved to archive.debian.org. You can find it here: http://www.mepis.org/docs/en/index.php? ... _MEPIS_8.0.

Exactly what I was wanting. Should have checked there first. (Don't they/we all say that about the Wiki?)

Thanks.

Thanks again, Kent. The old beater has been given it's initial rounds of updates, and I'm now adding a few packages to round it out.

I'd forgotten how impressively M8 installed ran on this thing.
