Mepis 11 0 12 install

 Mepis 11 0 12 installHi all Just managed to get hold of mepis 11.0.12 after trying various mirrors etc (all overloaded) I managed to get a 1.5 GiB ISO from the torrent as the 3.8 GiB is not available
Excuse me for being still unknowing about these things but is this 1.5g ISO a lightweight one for legal reasons in certain countries and if so does an upgrade through synaptic turn it into the full edition or do I have to add or enable other repos in the list.? If I do what are the names to add or enable? Lovely distro which installed alongside my Mint LMDE without wiping out the LMDE from grub and has found all my hardware a treat Even opened libre office and printed out some of the help page from the install page while installing. No, it is the same distro. The big DVD version includes a lot of extra packages which would be useful to people with poor access to the internet. |

I am not a total newbe. I lost my original username. Just a returning oldie. I still have the original disc and tee shirt which I got from the shop. You should look there! I've lost the login for the original exclusive servers I think I remember the login but I aint giving it to you. x Ralph |
