 new version of firefox
Hello, I have searched and it said that firefox 12 could be found in the community repo. I found the wiki page that said to edit the /apt/sources.list and I did as stated. I reloaded synaptic and the repos show up, but I can't get a new version of firefox. It still has firefox 9. How can I get firefox 12???

 Re: new version of firefox
In the Synaptic Settings--Preferences--Distributions, you have to set it to prefer versions from "mepis", then the community repo versions will show up as upgrades. You can check to see if they are there, even before changing the settings, by taking a look at what the "versions" tab shows for each package.
