This is the way it looks in the Synaptics add repo dialog.

Ok..Thanks. Finally got the entry to stick...must have been the ./ that did it. Now we have the problem with the gpg key..Whats the next move with that.

Shames site may give the key. I just ignore it as it has no effect on anything. You know Shames is legit.

Right. So are you saying I don't need to concern myself with anything else..Do I need to move the entry up the list in Synaptic or anything or do I just leave it down the bottom and check out what I can download from his repo by a reload.

To install Shame's key, execute the following in a terminal: su -c 'wget http://download.tuxfamily.org/shames/A42A6CF5.gpg -O- | apt-key add -'
