How to use "Mark forums read"
At the bottom center of the Index page, you will see a Mark forums read choice. Its purpose is to mark as read all posts you have not read. So, for example, you login to the forum, and click View unread posts. All posts you have not read are shown. You decide to read some of the posts but the others do not interest you. When you are done reading, you can go to the Forum index page, scroll down to the bottom, and click Mark forums read. Now all posts have been marked read and if you click View unread posts again, no posts will be shown.

This was the one feature I missed, and it now seems to work well. Huzzah!

Same here Jerry. I agonized over going live without it.

Yay! I missed that link alright. I am going to be a little irritating and ask for that link to be put up top if possible? Saves the scrolling on the main page

Re: How to use "Mark forums read"
Not irritating at all. We are going to do that. But it requires some downtime, and thorough testing. As you may recall, on the test site, it ceased to work from both locations when it was added to the top. We do not want that to happen again.

Re: How to use "Mark forums read"
An idea: add a link in the top that redirects to the bottom of the page? Click hoopla click, done? Is that an idea maybe?

Re: How to use "Mark forums read"
It definitely is an idea. Would save some clicking and scrolling. Let's see how this develops. Test, test and more test.
