 Re: MEPIS remasters
A couple years back I said I would work on an XFCE remaster... something I later abandoned basically for more pressing commitments. I did upload a couple of test ISO's through fcs-inc.biz... but I'm pretty sure they were lost when the host of that site disappeared. I don't think they were ever torrented or widely distributed though. Probably shouldn't be listed though since nothing really became of them.

 Re: MEPIS remasters
The EXTON-ME is a remaster of M8.0 from 2009 with Swedish localization. An earlier remaster of M6.0 was made in 2006. http://linux.exton.net/node/31Henry

Thanks, people, good start. I know there are others.
Does anybody have Marcos's XFCE ISO?

 Re: MEPIS remasters
Can you get them somewhere where we can secure them? Maybe Peregrine can help with this (huh?).

 Re: MEPIS remasters
A word of caution being as 99% were built in 2009, using lenny, while they will run upgrading them is likely to be a dis---aster, if you try to upgrade any I did it will be a disaster a 100% total disaster.

 Re: MEPIS remasters
That's a good caution, and we will have to include that with any listing we create.

 Re: MEPIS remasters
Thanks for confirmation, can anybody try and report problems? The script is available on Github, https://github.com/MEPIS-Community/remastering-script anybody can take a look, make corrections and add features, I don't have time to properly maintain it and my skills have reached the limit there, so I welcome any contribution.
