Ok, pithos 0.3.13 will show up in the testing CR this evening. Or you can download it here if you're in a hurry

I got it installed myself from the source, using the instructions at the Pithos website.

A big THANKS for the work though Tim, it's nice having options. :clap:

The login for Pithos is broken again, it's giving a "You have no chance to survive make your time" error message when starting Pithos.

I've been following this thread here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/pithos/+bug/743198 and it looks like there's an update (version 0.3.14) in a ppa repo.

There's also a patch that was posted in that thread (post #31: https://bugs.launchpad.net/pithos/+bug/ ... omments/31) which you can apply to get the current Pithos version (0.3.13-1mcr110+1) working again until an updated package is available. The command below will download and apply the patch.

It's connecting and playing for me.

Try completely quitting pithos (right click the pithos icon in the systray and choose "Quit") and start it again.

Still does not work. It actually starts two instances, one never loads, the other starts immediately but no connection. I will completely remove pithos and re-install then apply the patch again and see what the result is.

EDIT: Same result.

Attached is the newest pithos 0.3.14
It works here on both 64bit & 32bit & on both KDE versions.
Try completely uninstalling your old pithos & installing this one.

The patch worked for me, but I went ahead and grabbed the new version too. Thanks to Kent and Tim both for the help. :smile:
