inxi -F will show you or cat /etc/antix-version

What are you trying to install using module assistant?

I guess installing the headers from MEPIS source went ok.

Question #2:

I'm trying to get sound and wireless working. Both have been fairly easy with Mepis and Debian. This is my first try with antiX. I'm beginning to think this laptop is cursed.

Question #3:

Yes, headers went well. As long as I match the version number, it's usually duck soup.
