Can't install SM 11 dual boot M$ 7

 Can't install SM 11 dual boot M$ 7I got a new Laptop ( Toshiba Satellite , Core i7 processer, pretty well loaded ), and installed Windows System 7 Pro ( had to get 32 bit version ), which works as well as one should expect Windows to run.
Then went to install my downloaded SM 11, from a DVD that has been running great since release, on a desktop. The desktop runs great dual boot with Windows XP Professional also 32 bit. The DVD used to install on laptop is same as used perfectly on desktop. Got problem, which I will describe below. I downloaded and burned two more copies of SM 11 to make sure - ALL of the three DVDs act the same. The problem is that it seems to load system, and when get to the log-in screen, the only button is demo there is NO ROOT choice. I try to erase demo and write root, won't stay written. There seems to be no way for me to install SM 11, as we all know it has to be installed by root. But cannot find any way to install.. help files don't cover this, I googled - no help, can't find a thread that covers. Help, please. |

Re: Can't install SM 11 dual boot M$ 7 Login as DEMO and then when you do the install it will ask for ROOT password and when you give it then the install will start.
