And that makes me think of the over 30,000 fatalities per year on U.S. highways. And the number of drug-related homicides every year to south of here, in Juárez, Mexico. And other full-blown tragedies that we kinda turn a blind eye to.

Unfortunately, I doubt very few of the people attending her funeral are actually mourning her death. True mourning is a very private thing. The death of someone you love changes your life forever.
