Sleeper,

Let me say welcome to the Land of Mepis. I read your other post and can understand your feelings. You will find this to be the most friendly and helpful group of people around. We look forward to making you stay here enjoyable. Just remember the only "STUPID" question is the one you already know the answer.

Steve

Welcome Sleeper and K^2 said it better than I could

that a newbie searched and read old threads is laudable... oft times, newcomers simply post without first searching for a possible answer

I totally agree with KK and it's a big selling point for Mepis.

Of course they have probably tried everything they know. Which is almost always Windows-oriented. And by the time they find us they're pretty fried. So it's easy to help them. Some here are pretty good at helping. Besides, it's way better than watching TV.

(On a personal note I think there's the added benefit of keeping my neuron firing.) :crossfingers:

Well, it may be a little too 'relaxed'...... but it's there when I check. Sometimes.
