 Re: Whoa there, Trigger!
That makes me think he's jumping to a Wheezy base. Speculation only, but he usually doesn't change version numbers unless he's changing the underlying base:
6.0 Ubuntu 6.06 6.5 Ubuntu 6.06 7.0 Etch 8.0 Lenny 8.5 Lenny 11.0 Squeeze 11.5 12.0 Wheezy???

 Re: Whoa there, Trigger!
Is it possible that mepis 12 has ubuntu as base ?
This is just a wild speculation, since a fluid base like wheezy (at current stage, testing phase) is not really a good choice. I will keep my fingers crossed over this.

 Re: Whoa there, Trigger!
@Jerry3904 Maybe you can get The Oracle to reveal some details about MEPIS 12; i.e., whether it will still be Debian based (Squeeze, Wheezy, or ...), kernel version, KDE version, and so forth.

No way: no one here wants it, starting with Warren.

 Re: Whoa there, Trigger!
It's going to be v12 because we are well in 2012, there's no need for speculations about the base of the distro because of the version number.
