WW has said he'd be moving to GRUB 2 (and UUID) with the new release.

Re: M 12 alpha getting close
I was wrong. I've got sound, but I don't have sound from my antique analog TV card. 02:06.1 Multimedia controller: Brooktree Corporation Bt878 Audio Capture (rev 02) I don't think I've ever had to do anything at all to get this to work in any Linux I've ever installed. Just install tvtime and Bingo!, it's done.

Re: M 12 alpha getting close
There's an interesting message today from Modestas Vainius on the debian-qt-kde mailling list regarding KDE SC 4.8 and it's inclusion in Wheezy. http://lists.debian.org/debian-qt-kde/2 ... 00161.html

Re: M 12 alpha getting close
Speaking of KDE 4.8, it would probably be a good idea to make sure the Plasma-Active components are available through Mepis as well.
